I just... couldn't stand the pressure of it anymore. Taking care of five siblings from the moment I wake up, all the cooking and the cleaning and solving their problems... I got too tired. I wanted to live on my own.

They both work. My mother is a nurse who works late into the night, and my father is a truck driver who is across the country most of the time.

I know it doesn't sound very fair, but I don't... mind. If it's cleaning, I can ensure that everything is clean. For cooking, I'm the only one who knows how. Naturally, I would take care of those sorts of housework.

[ Every day!! He had to wake up earlier than everybody else just to cook breakfast and have it waiting when they're awake, being awake so early is the worst. But he's quick to have his hands out, gesturing in some sort of placating way. ]

It- it wasn't. I didn't think so... [ It was, and he didn't think so because he's stupid. ]

It was my job. As long as the house was kept proper and my siblings were happy, it was worth it to me. I was happy to do all of that.

...I'm seventeen right now, so I'll be an adult in a couple of months.
